About the Fund

The Gretchen Gotthart Skeldon Fund honors the life of a generous and loving mother, wife, friend, colleague, and community servant. The fund's mission is to continue the work Gretchen began by supporting and bringing awareness to programs in Northwest Ohio focused on improving the lives of terminally ill children, children with disabilities and women with breast cancer.

The Gretchen Gotthart Skeldon Fund is a donor-advised fund held by the Toledo Community Foundation. Fund advisors include Phil Skeldon, Missy Holden and Casey Schreiner. Funding decisions are made in conjunction with an advisory committee comprised of community members committed to continuing the legacy of Gretchen Gotthart Skeldon.

We are pleased to note that $40,000 has been distributed to four NW Ohio agencies in the last two years.
